Merge discussion[edit]

The pages Garden Sanctuary and Secret garden (gardening) are very close matches. They were created by the same user, Ruwoltj. They need some attention, and should be merged if they are going to be duplicates. = paul2520 14:21, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Paul2520, Zakhx150, and Ruwoltj: The two articles were similar enough that I redirected secret garden into this one, along with tagging it appropriately and shortening it significantly. Unfortunately, no. "Secret garden", especially in Italian (giardino segreto), is a real concept in gardening history, with many existing uses on WP. "Garden sanctuary" is not, it's just a phrase. I agree there's at least one article too many here, but Garden sanctuary should be the first to go. Both might be added to garden room, or somewhere else. Secret garden (gardening) could do with an article, but not the OR rubbish you rightly removed. Ruwoltj hasn't edited since Oct 22 - perhaps just as well.
