Two reasons why I feel Gary Dennis is worthy of a Wikipedia page: (1) He is a recipient of the Lieutenant Governor's Ontario Heritage Award, a very prestigious award, given to him for exceptional voluntarism over 25 years; and (2) His contributions to knowledge of the history of Bracebridge, Ontario by way of authoring 38 books on the region. All sources come from the same local newspaper, not enough to show significant coverage. The award is not at the national or international level and didn't get much coverage, not enough to claim notability either. He can't claim academic notability. Read WP:GNG and WP:notability (people) to learn more. Thanks. Karlpoppery (talk) 00:42, 13 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Multiple issues[edit]

This article is an orphan but another problem is there are 15 links in the "External links" section. 3 or 4 is alright for a normal sized article but this is far too many. I will defer to the contributing editor's decision to trim this. Ways to do this would be: 1)- place some in an appropriate "Other reading" section, 2)- incorporate some into the article as references, or 3)- just cut them down to an appropriate amount.
