Is the name of the game actually officially "Gears 5" instead of "Gears of War 5" or is that just some preliminary discussion by the developer? IWantGears5 (talk) 01:27, 21 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Now that some time has passed, it is officially confirmed via a news reference that the game will be called "Gears 5", which breaks away from all canon past game names. alby13 (talk) 07:25, 12 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
