From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Gelco is over 100 years old and created a lot of concepts in the today's business process management industry which is already referenced in many management articles in Wikipedia ( business process reengineering, business proces etc.) Gelco also was one of the first companies to provide services in the credit management industry which also has a significant presence in Wikipedia. The article is predominately historical and was written from a neutral point of view.

what now

[edit]

The history is interesting, and worth an article, if you had more sources. The business part probably should e separated, and for an effective article there you will have to talk about market share, notable products, and references to their use and quality, based on trade journals & similar sources. You have a day or two now--but you mst get those published sources. DGG 06:35, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Updated

[edit]

As requested a business section was created with notable products with several new references. --Voyageurit 19:56, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Other companies named Gelco

[edit]

It should also be noted that there are several companies with this name, including a German fashion house, a gel products maker, a maker of chimney caps and an unfinished-furniture company in New Jersey! --Orange Mike 02:51, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Name infringement is not something I am in any position to address. This is an issue for the Gelco legal staff if they consider it a significant concern which I doubt as these organizations are all relatively new smaller retail shops --Voyageurit 15:45, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The concern is rather with ambiguity, if the article is simply entitled Gelco. --Orange Mike 15:54, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Requested Wiki Admin Updates

[edit]

Several changes were made at the recommendation of various Wiki admins. The services and history were both simplified to improve objectivity/nuetrality. --Voyageurit 15:50, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
