Some edits and reversion[edit]

I'll base my explanation from this edit: 1

1. First and foremost, you saw that I rearranged the locations of the images. As far as I can see on many Wikipedia articles, images on the lead section is much avoided especially if the article has an infobox associated with. Furthermore, images are traditionally placed at every beginning of a new paragraph, rather than the central part of a paragraph, like you did in GTDLNHS pediment.jpg.
2. I rewrote the lead section in the way like this:

so that it would fit with the Wikipedia's manual of style for lead section. Officially, the school is named as General Tiburcio de Leon National High School (apart from the truth that it was named after Tiburcio de León),and adding its common name Gen. T. de Leon National High School after the "also known" phrase would be much better than finding a stray parenthesis having its full name. Additionally, the school's acronym is GTDLNHS, which makes sure it is also known for that.

3. Third, even though you can't see it, some wordings of the history section, more concisely, the section headers, are supporting bias, and violates the Wikipedia's neutrality rule. For example, the tone of the sentence "The present administration of Mrs. David has ushered dramatic changes in physical development, staff improvement, and pursuit of quality education." offers sort of bias. As much as possible, please avoid] these kind of statements. Sad to say, I found not at least one of them in the article but too many.
4. Fourth, I tagged this template:

to the history section. It means that the whole section is a big bunch of unreferenced things that you should put into consideration. What if you're talking mischief and somebody else take it as truth? We won't afford to happen that. Additionally, if you happen to see someone put those tags to the article you wrote, don't be mad. It means that somebody is concerned with what you're doing and that somebody wants your validate the truth of your work. (You can visit this article if you don't have any idea for referencing.) Furthermore, unless you addressed the concern, you may opt to remove the tag. For example, if I tagged {{unreferenced}} to your article, you can't remove them unless you provided good and reliable sources for the info. Written publications such as school paper or even the internet will do, but make sure you know how to cite them.

5. I formatted the curricular offerings section so that non-Filipino, or non-student of Gen. T. de Leon NHS readers will not be confused what that whole big box is all about. I hope you understand that there are lots of many foreign people looks at Wikipedia every seconds.
6. Finally, what caught my attention very well is this end remark:

Here's my thoughts:

a. First, I would say that I have more than three years of experimenting and editing Wikipedia than you do.
b. Second, if you try to look under the "Save Page" button whenever you edit an article, you always see this:
c. In connection with above, you see that Wikipedia is a Free Encyclopedia. Everyone can edit it. Not because I am, or somebody, is not a student of Gen. T. de Leon, that means they have no right to edit this article.
d. Even though you can't, leaving a remark like that suggest that you tends to own the article. Wikipedia says that's very very bad, because every single article in here is owned by Wikimedia Foundation, and they have the copyright over that.
e. I removed the Achievement section. Because (1) it is the most un-neutral section I ever found in this article. Well, you can say that the school garnered several achievements and awards, but make sure that (2) you put in some proofs (say, news sources) that will support your claim. You know, bragging will be worthy id you have the right verification.

That's all so far. I hope you understand what I said.--JL 09 q?c 15:29, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
