I am the author and copyright holder of the book in question, ACT for Gender Identity: The Comprehensive Guide and have just emailed Permissions granting use of the content on Wikipedia's Gender Variance page, via the Creative Commons Attribution-Sharealike 3.0 Unported License (CC-BY-SA) and the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL). The intent of the contribution is to share the experiential dimension of gender variance behind all the labels and associated terms. Labels differ from culture to culture, and even between generational and community cohorts within diverse LGBTQ+ populations, so it can help to momentarily put them aside in order to validate what gender variance can look like. I feel the bullet point list from my book is a succinct way to do this, which is the only reason I used it verbatim. Please ping me if there's anything else I need to do in order to permit this quote. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Literary Art Historian (talkcontribs) 22:22, 8 September 2020 (UTC)

No bi men mentioned?

Why are bisexual women mentioned in this article but not bisexual men? 2601:240:C401:AD60:0:0:0:EDBA (talk) 03:23, 27 April 2022 (UTC)

Regarding the third paragraph of the section, § Association with sexual orientation, I recommend reading the linked citations. I have not read them, but it is likely that they only address women in their research. We cannot discuss in the encyclopedia what has not already been discussed in external study (see WP:OR for further discussion of this idea).
If the cited papers do address bisexual and gay men, then please do help us amend the paragraph in question. — HTGS (talk) 05:35, 27 April 2022 (UTC)

Updated and added a section about bisexual men. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pppp42 (talkcontribs) 03:36, 23 October 2023 (UTC)
