not neutral[edit]

Citations are needed. Also, the following does not appear to be neutral:

"Meanwhile, Green has proved to be a dolt when it comes to understanding the merger of Sirius and XM. He believes the two companies to be a monopoly even though he admits that the two companies compete with Terrestrial radio. Mr. Green would rather see both companies go out of business and listeners have less choice because he is bought and paid for by Terrestrial radio."

I tried to take a bit of the POV out while maintaining the facts of the story. I could not figure out how to set up a reference... http://www.247wallst.com/2008/03/rep-gene-green.html 63.111.32.66 (talk) 14:16, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I haven't researched the merger, but the language above is an absolute no-no no matter what happened. Green can't literally be a "dolt" or he couldn't run an election campaign. I'm no lawyer but "...bought and paid for by Terrestrial radio" sounds like an accusation of the crime of bribery, and according to Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons things like that should be removed without waiting for discussion - unless of course, someone produces a reference that proves Mr. Green has been found guilty. Pruning[edit]

Following this report at the biographies of living persons noticeboard, I have semi-protected the page for 1 month to stem the vandalism. Additionally, I removed all potentially contentious information that was unsourced and some (also unsourced) sentences that were clearly designed to lead the reader to a POV, per the biographies of living persons policy.
