I've reverted General Electric Company to redirect to General Electric; and The General Electric Company to redirect to The General Electric Company plc. That's what all the links to those pages (see here and here) seem to intend. Ewlyahoocom 04:31, 26 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Odd choice. The US General Electric is known as such, or as GE with no special mention of 'company', whereas the UK GEC was always known with the 'C', and if it was spelt out it was General Electric Company.
