ADVERT and related issues
[edit]This article has several problems. Firstly, it is very much WP:ADVERT in tone (and the repeat inclusion of the group's facebook/twitter links would seem to be for promotional reasons only). Secondly, in its current form it doesn't seem to meet WP:CORP for groups/organisations, as there is only one secondary source provided and it doesn't seem to have been the subject of "significant coverage" beyond this. (Several national news agencies picked up the launch press release, but this is not "significant coverage"). And finally, there are WP:CRYSTAL issues also in tone. Stating as it does that the group "will be campaigning" in emphatic terms. When this campaigning hasn't started yet, and no referendum has definitively been set yet. (Though no doubt a referendum will be set, the tone still needs review). Guliolopez (talk) 10:16, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
- Some of the issues noted above have since been addressed. However, save for the launch PR, there is no "significant coverage" on the subject of this article. It may be that, in time, notability under WP:ORG is confirmed, but - until then - care needs to be taken in relation to the WP:NOTNEWS guidelines. Guliolopez (talk) 20:26, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
Grassroots?
[edit]They were set up by IBEC, they're a classic astroturf front group, this article has massive NPOV problems. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.44.85.212 (talk) 01:16, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
To be fair, that can be said of the entire Lisbon article and anything linked to it before the elections. Looking at foreign language articles, the English article was fairly sparse upto now. It'd be interesting to look at the edit history... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.71.100.152 (talk) 14:18, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
