Re-work and sources[edit]

  • some re-work of the article
  • removed some factual errors (these originated from the earlier sources, see below)

Sources:

  • regarding The American Cyclopedia and The New American Cyclopedia by Riple and Dana
    • these are the most extensive publicly available English sources, but they contain some errors
    • replaced inline references pointing to these, but kept them in the References section, with a note
  • added new publicly available source Encyclopedia Britannica (English, short) and the biography by Brusewitz (Swedish, extensive), pointing inline references to these, preferring Encyclopedia Britannica when possible
  • removed the below source since it is of inferior quality to the later Brusewitz source (both are in Swedish)
    • Meijer, Bernhard, ed. (1904). Nordisk Familjebok Konversationslexikon och Realencyklopedi (in Swedish). Vol. 1 A-Armati. Stockholm: Nordisk familjeboks förlags aktiebolag. pp. 179–180. Retrieved 2014-01-18.
  • also se the <\!-- ... --> comments in the article code under the References section
  • removed "External links" entry pointing to http://runeberg.org/nf/ (Nordisk Familjebok, in Swedish) - no need for it, also, the Adlersparre articles in that work contain errors Ekborg (talk) 14:13, 1 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
