George Grenfell Baines → George Grenfell-Baines – We point out that he firstly added Grenfell to his existing surname Baines, and then later hyphenated the two names into a double-barrelled surname. George Grenfell-Baines surname

To add to the archived discussion regarding George Grenfell-Baines' surname, according to the 1911 census - completed by his father - Grenfell was his middle name and his mother's maiden name. Pen Lammer (talk) 13:24, 19 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
