Neutrality dispute[edit]

I am disputing the neutrality of this article because it may not be written from a neutral point of view. The potential bias mainly stems from the choice of words used to describe Jepsen’s state legislative and legal accomplishments. Examples include:

  • "Jepsen also successfully fought special interests to ensure gun safety ..."
  • "During the height of the National Rifle Association's political power, Jepsen became a national leader against the NRA and for gun control."
  • "Jepsen led the effort that put the rights that women earned through Roe v. Wade into state law."
  • "He supported ground-breaking health insurance reform to improve what should have been covered services for mental illness and emergency room conditions."
  • "As Senate Majority Leader, Jepsen championed several new laws that leveled the playing field and took in entrenched interest groups."
  • Non-neutral words such as "championed" appear often throughout the article.

Overall, this doesn’t appear to be an extreme case of bias, but the article as a whole may be overly promotional in George Jepsen’s favor. --Sgt. R.K. Blue (talk) 03:48, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sooty Six[edit]

Hello, As one of the lead organizers of the Sooty Six power plant clean-up campaign and therefore intimately knowledgeable with the progression of the campaign, I am considering establishing a wikipedia page on this topic. Since Sooty Six is references on this page I am checking in with you. Do you have any objections? Thank you, Brooke Suter, Nov 2, 2014 BrookeSuter (talk) 07:56, 2 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
