Untitled[edit]

It's interesting to note the differences in the accounts of Dasch's surrender on the FBI site and the WW2 Magazine article. Is the FBI still trying to enhance J. Edgar's image after over 50 years? Miraculouschaos 14:45, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Despite the protests of Hoover, President Roosevelt commuted the sentence to life imprisonment for Burger, and thirty years for Dasch."

This is inconsistent with the FBI website, claiming Hoover urged the commutation. 216.255.11.165 (talk) 06:58, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wow! This page is way off. At least two facts wrong. 1) J Edgar hoover did not recommend a commutation of the death sentance, he recommended against it. and 2) there was never a pardon from the president. This article does not represent the true role of J Edgar Hoover in this affair and his manipulation of the whole thing to make it look like the FBI was a hero, when the exact oposite was true. Reead almost any other account and you will start to see the true story.

First marriage[edit]

The first mention of Rosemarie Guille is after mentioning his second marriage. Is some paragraph missing? --Error (talk) 14:53, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
