The indigenous language of the island?[edit]

If the Norman language has been referred to elsewhere on Wikipedia as: "When Norse Vikings from modern day Scandinavia arrived in Neustria, in the western part of the then Kingdom of the Franks, and settled the land that became known as Normandy", how is this considered more or less indigenous than anything else that now finds itself on the island? 59.102.37.178 (talk) 03:19, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
