Ideas for Minns' page.[edit]

The 1957 yearbook of SJSU has a pic of Minns in it for their Centennial. A whole segment from pages 125-151 has old pictures of Presidents and student life from that era. I don't know what copyright to use from the yearbook. It's past 70 years for the original dates, of the public domain. But, does that include the yearbook date? Does the counting of Public Domain begin from the original dates or from the time it was in the yearbook? I can't find that info on WP though I do find plenty of discussion. I don't want to go through all the trouble of scanning pics, uploading them and then have the contradictory rules of WP keep them from appearing. By contradictory I mean WP does not want original work; every article has to have been published elsewhere first to be authenticated and mainstream(that's another thread). But when it comes to pictures the photo must be original work or in the public domain.Kristinwt (talk) 15:19, 28 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hey this is pretty late, but where were you able to find that book? I can't find it anywhere online. SammySpartan (talk) 17:30, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
