[Untitled][edit]

Following the creation of a new entry for this work, I have here changed the allocation of Magdalen with the Smoking Flame, which is housed at the Louvre and not to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. For this check the Louvre Catalogue and their website [1]. The confusion arises because of various Magdalenes located at various museums (Paris, Los Angeles, Washington, New York).--Smintheus Fellin (talk) 22:10, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I saw this painting two weeks ago at Los Angles County Museum of Art.It is part of museum's collection. [1] it was donated to the museum by Ahmanson Foundation.Louvre has La Madeleine à la veilleuse, which is Magdelen of Night Light Bialosz (talk) 20:50, 3 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

He was not French. Gascons were not English under English rule.[edit]

So it should not misread: "Georges de La Tour (March 13, 1593 – January 30, 1652) was a French Baroque painter, who spent most of his working life in the Duchy of Lorraine" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.0.184.220 (talk) 03:33, 13 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
