Georgette Bauerdorf: Murder at El Palacio[edit]

The external link to Georgette Bauerdorf: Murder at the El Palacio has been removed. It certainly contains more data, photographs and information than any other site dealing with her life and death. Please reconsider adding this site to the link section. November 1, 2008 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rapidchicken (talkcontribs) 05:23, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It was removed because it appears to be an outside link that violates WP:EL. As pretty and informative as it might be, it seems to be published through wordpress, which would qualify it as a self-published blog sort of site, which are forbidden as outside links. Yeah, we can't have anything informative links on Wikipedia, can we? LOL173.61.239.187 (talk) 02:06, 26 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Notability and other Problems[edit]

1) How does this article pass Notability? This is just another murder victim among a couple million.

2) How does she die in California when this article says that she is with her step-mother in New York?

3) There is no mention in this article about John Lehrman Sumpter. Shouldn't there be?

This article should be deleted. > Best O Fortuna (talk) 03:24, 10 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Legacy[edit]

Hi. Georgette Bauerdorf was killed in Los Angeles County, so her murder was investigated by the Sheriff's Department, not the LAPD. Lmharnisch (talk) 16:02, 5 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
