Members of the German Village Society are Caretakers of a Legacy ~ dedicated to preserving the character and distinction of the past while creating a thriving and contemporary community in German Village. Members serve on a variety of committees (Historic Preservation, Streetscape, Long Range Planning, Parks, Public Spaces & Community Events to name a few), organize and attend social events, and generally want the very best for their neighborhood and know that one step toward that goal is getting involved.

I wonder if this article can focus on all the positive things happening in this neighborhood and use the above comment to close the article rather than the negatively-charged comments regarding mismanagement of funds, board resignations, and staff departures. Anyone interested in that information can refer to local newspapers such as This Week German VIllage, the German Village Gazette, or the Columbus Business Journal, which have all been sited. The above comment, like so many others on the German Village post, can be referenced to www.germanvillage.com.

Capitalization?

[edit]

Can someone please confirm the capitalization of "alte" in "Das Alte Südende" from appropriate sources? In German, adjectives usually are not capitalized. --93.212.236.194 (talk) 22:49, 1 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Underground Tunnel

[edit]

Generally speaking "underground tunnel" is redundant, especially given the context. Are there above ground tunnels in which the reader could be confused with? If not, I recommend keeping it as just "tunnel". Leitmotiv (talk) 05:16, 21 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
