BLP[edit]

When i created the accompanying article (the edit summary "Stub to hold ext links from LoPbN" suggests that the person in question had an entry on List of people by name, or the alphabetical-range pages it directly or indirectly linked to, that included the external link, which has at least the value of demonstrating that the person exists. External links were not permitted on LoPbN pages, and rather than discard useful info, i presumably created the stub, on which the following link was appropriate:

http://www.immigration-usa.com/wfb2004/sudan/sudan_chiefs.html

which is a pg entitled "Sudan Chiefs of State - 2004" and attributed to the CIA Factbook. Someone presumably involved in the dramatic expansion of that stub removed the ref. Someone having more facility than i with the subject matter could at least find or create a place on the page where it can appropriately serve at least that same function.
