Controversy

[edit]

I believe it would be better if we discuss on the issue on "CONTROVERSIES" and come to some sort of conclusion. As per my understanding at present I don't think there is a controversy with this taxa. :)--Karthickbala (talk) 16:35, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Per wikipedia policies WP:NPOV and WP:OR, editors are not supposed to conclude or make original research here. The dispute has been discussed in Reliable sources and citations have been added and the "controversy" angle supported by the newspaper article. It is still controversial since there are unanswered questions, but this is outside the scope of the Wikipedia article. For instance it is rather odd for an author to find fault with their own earlier paper in the tone given. Authors can and do take back their previous conclusions or modify them on the basis of their new research, but this case does not seem to fit in to that category.
