I am accepting the submission at this time. However, the article is still in need of an infobox and some citation cleanup. -Aaron Booth (talk) 05:50, 17 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Giants Are Small[edit]

Hello,

I am one of the co-founders of Giants Are Small, the company described in this article. The article about our organization is generally accurate, but I made a few updates / corrections a few days ago, namely:

- I changed the second paragraph of the introduction, which was saying that we collaborate with the New York Philharmonic and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. It is correct that we work with these orchestras, but we collaborate with other orchestras as well and I felt this was fairly incomplete. Instead, I wrote that our company is active in producing opera, family entertainment, ballet and educational content. This seems like a more complete description of what we are doing. - I also added some information about one of our upcoming productions (The Dancer's Dream), because the information posted on Wikipedia wasn't accurate anymore (the title of the show, among other things, has changed and therefore it wasn't accurate to call it "Petrushka" anymore).

These changes were made in the sole purpose to make this article more accurate factually than it was.

Because I made those changes under the username Giants Are Small, which I found out later is inappropriate for me to use (because Wikipedia forbids the use of username which contain the name of organizations or brands), there is now a note before the article which says that "A major contributor to this article appears to have a close connection with its subject. It may require cleanup to comply with Wikipedia's content policies, particularly neutral point of view. Please discuss further on the talk page. (March 2013)".

If the author of the article on Giants Are Small or anyone else can help by confirming that these changes are accurate, so that Wikipedia can deem this article as "neutral", that would be very much appreciated. One way to verify that change of title of our show "Dancer's Dream" is to visit the New York Philharmonic website, using the following link: <http://nyphil.org/ConcertsTickets/EventDetails.aspx?event={E9C1BA98-BE86-49B0-9E2B-7631DC2A4383}>

Overlinking, sloppy formatting, and other problems[edit]

To whoever has been adding to this article:

It is a bad idea to repeatedly Wikilink the same words over and over again in the same article. Please read WP:OVERLINKING for an explanation. Also, the formatting (such as italics) is sloppy. Please see WP:ITALICS for guidelines.

There are ample references, but they are incomplete. You may find the article Help:Referencing for beginners useful in learning how to build complete and well-formatted references in Wikipedia. The methods shown in Using refToolbar are particularly handy for enabling efficient cut-and-paste construction of a proper Wikipedia reference. The refToolbar method is very useful, because it uses a simple form to cue an editor to include the most important parameters (for example, author, date, publisher), while it takes care of the formatting details automatically. You can skip the later section in the tutorial, on manually building references, until/unless you need to "look under the covers" to make custom modifications.

I have tried to do some cleanups, but more work is needed. Please try to ensure that future additions to this article are formatted correctly from the start. Thank you for helping to upgrade the quality of Wikipedia! Reify-tech (talk) 23:52, 5 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
