Deletion?[edit]

This stub cites no sources, and I suspect there are none to be found. I am not sure that any linguists have studied accents in Gibraltar, distinct from Llanito. Without any sources, the article should be deleted. In my view, there is no such thing as Gibraltarian English. People speak English with accents, but these do not constitute a dialect. I understand your point. Since there are articles on various regional specifics of British English and American English (e.g. the Boston accent) especially pertaining to specific pronunciations and word choices I'd thought I'd make this stub in case somebody did actually now something about it and to paint a more complete picture of English accents outside the major Anglosphere zone of G.B./U.S.. That being said, I did just make the article in the event that someone did have some info on specific regionalisms of Gibraltar (apart from the code-switching Llanito that is)...but if that's not the case the stub will/should/shall be up for deletion in the future.
