The Gilpin located in Storey County was a siding (see Carlson), so WP:STATION applies and thus the Gilpin, Storey County is probably not notable. The Gilpin located across the river in Washoe County might be notable. However, Gilpin is not listed in Gammett's "Nevada Post Offices," so it is doubtful that the Gilpin, Washoe County is notable. The Gilpin Rest Stop would not make Gilpin, Washoe County notable. If Gilpin, Washoe County is notable, then this article should be updated to that location or renamed to Gilpin, Washoe County, Nevada. However, since Gilpin, Storey County is probably not notable, then moving this article to Washoe County would probably be best. Cxbrx (talk) 15:36, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
