[edit]I rated "Coverage and accuracy" as failed because the article lacks a few sections common to pages of this kind, namely "Personality" and "Appearances in other media". But all in all, this looks like a promiseing article. It is among the best that I've found so far among the unrated anime articles. -- Goodraise (talk) 19:56, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
- I sort of had a bad time with creating articles on Wiki that I'm actually surprised I'm getting good word on something. Probably it's hard for me to create a good Wiki article and I know some of what you're looking for will probably be tough to find (the only "other media" I can think of for Gintoki are Jump-related things such as the JSS/JUS video games and some of the stuff I mentioned in the article with Ichigo Kurosaki from Bleach...though personality should be easy) but I will try my best. -StrangerAtaru (talk) 22:05, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
- Creating articles is easy. Creating good articles is hard work. And it is appreciated. Keep up the good work. :) -- Goodraise (talk) 23:07, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
- PS: If you want me to review the article again (for example if you think one of the B-class criteria has been met), just drop me a line on my talk page...
Sakamoto?
[edit]It's obvious that Gin, Katsura and Takasugi were in the same class together and worked in the Joi. But I'm not sure about Sakamoto: sure he was a member of the Joi and had a flashback from that period, but that seemed to be it. There really was no hint of Gin knowing of Sakamoto prior to the Joi from what I've seen. -StrangerAtaru (talk) 17:32, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
Sections
[edit]Himura Kenshin and other swordsmen characters who have their own arcticles have Abilities, Personality, Plot sections. Why doesn't Gintoki have them? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Arthurprica (talk • contribs) 09:22, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
- Didn't the edit summaries explain that? The manual of style states this types of sections should be avoided per Wikipedia:Fancruft, besides there was very little about Gintoki's abilities.Tintor2 (talk) 11:30, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
