No president in 2006

The article had president written in the infobox for the year 2006 but Nepal didn't have president at that period, so I had to remove it. --Proteasfanz (talk) 07:06, 23 March 2010 (UTC)

Stop the vandalism

C'mon guys, let's not behave like kids.

Please watch this talk page in a week. I am going to suggest some changes by then (I hope). I am back. Please go through my efforts and do comment. All comments positive or negative are welcome.

[Major changes]: request a broad discussion before implementation

  • Sentence needs some words added to avoid breaching the NPOV. I have often heard serious disagreements from many about the official reasons cited as the culprits of the recent royal massacre. Commentators suggest that the inaction by the RNA in its operation to rescue personnels from the Nepal police abducted in an offensive by the CPN Maoists. I suggest that this reason be cited here as well.
    • So true that I don't think it needs the NPOV rule to be called in.
      • Objection on grounds of being too general, ineffective, inordinate, and lack of citations. [Objection dropped after rereading the passage.]

[Suggested minor changes]:

  1. Added as a sign of courtesy
    1. I don't know much about the early life of Mr. GP Koirala. Iwould like to have this section expanded. Thank you!
      1. Can the alleged urban legend that Mr. BP Koirala had said that Mr. GP Koirala is unfit for any post beyond that of a 'hawaldar' (a low-ranking police personnel) be added as a trivia on this page?

[REQUESTS] (?) Unsure if the government was a one-party government or a coalition one. Please refer your sources, if at all possible.

I hope this will start an honest (assume good faith) debate. Thank you. I appreciate your co-operation. Kushal Kushal one 17:31, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

Please comment on the changes or I will not be able to implement them. If I am wrong, Please tell me so. Kushal one 18:22, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

Not sure if Promotional applies to this possibly unfree image from CNN's archive. Maybe someone can upload http://www.un.org/av/photo/ga/images/nep.jpg with Unimage as a temporary replacement. Not as nice a picture, but less of a copyvio. --199.71.174.100 04:49, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

What is the current status of the image? I don't mean you have to detail in the talk page everything you do, I m just making an inquiry. Thanks --who is kushal? 20:29, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

Year of birth

The article says 1921, but this official page says 1925. Everyking 11:08, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

OK, in the absence of evidence to the contrary I really think we should go with what the official page says, so I'm going to change it. Everyking 07:19, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

what it this?--David312322213 (talk) 20:27, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Looks to me to be a bad sketch, sir. blergh (talk) 15:30, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

Kindly do not remove information provided with sources

Agreed that Girija may be loved by a group of cynical fanatic supporters but, from my experience of Nepal, I know that there is another group which doesn't like him. The world has the right to know his criminal background. I have provided his criminal history backed by solid sources. Please do not remove the same and try and paint GPK only in the positive sense.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Jack of All, Master of None (talkcontribs)

None of the sourced content you've added has been removed. Only the opinion you added to his basic description. There is no attempt to point GPK in a positive sense, only to remove authors' opinions to allow the readers to decide from the actual facts. Someguy1221 (talk) 08:28, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

You did remove the sourced information that were put on this aritle on 1st November, 2009. Second, sources have already been provided for his criminal background. So everytime we write the word 'criminal' there is no need to justify. Further, 'criminal' is being used as an 'adjective' in the first sentence. And the usage of the word 'criminal' is being justified later in the first paragraph iteself. User:Jack of All, Master of None

Please read the biographies of living persons policy. Negative descriptions of living persons that cannot be explicitly referenced are not allowed. "Criminal" was actually the least negative word you added to the lead. Someguy1221 (talk) 09:24, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
