  • ... that according to legend, Giriyak stupa (pictured) was constructed over the body of a dead goose? Source: "...They accordingly built a stupa over the dead goose, which was interred in the base of the monument...." from: Cunningham, Alexander (1871). Four reports made during the years 1862-63-64-65. Vol. 1. Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India: Archaeological Survey of India. p. 19.

General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
Image: Image is freely licensed, used in the article, and clear at 100px.
QPQ: Done.

Overall: Good to go. My only comment is that it should probably read "... that according to legend, Giriyak stupa was constructed over the body of a dead goose?" instead.  Ploni💬  15:56, 14 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thank you reviewing the article, and for pointing out my oversight! The stupa is real, but the dead goose part is an ancient legend that will likely never be corroborated by archaeological evidence. DiverDave (talk) 16:21, 18 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
