Albania in 1433?

[edit]

" representing interests of the Republic of Ragusa and Albania."

Since Principality of Albania was created almost 600 years after 1433 (after London Conference in 1913) I propose to change above mentioned part of the sentence and write the name of medieval principality that Gjon was representing. --Antidiskriminator (talk) 08:55, 6 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Since League of Lezhe was created in 1444, he could not be representative of that League in 1433, so it probably was medieveal principality controled by Kastrioti family (Principality of Kastrioti) that he represented?--Antidiskriminator (talk) 09:05, 6 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Place of birth

[edit]

"Gjon Gazulli or Gjin Gazulli (Latin: Johannes Gasulus) Gjadër, 1400 – Republic of Ragusa, February 19, 1465)"

As place of his birh is written one small village (Gjader) and as place of his death is written one state (Republic of Ragusa). I propose to amend above mentioned text with country that he was born at, and it is if I am not wrong, Republic of Venice.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 09:18, 6 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ambassador in 15th century?

[edit]

Since position of ambassador emerged during Italian Wars almost one hundred years after Gazuli lived, and since it was only in 19th century that ambassadors were formally codified as persons that can be appointed by countries (if the text in the article about ambassadors is right) maybe it would be better to use term diplomat instead of ambassador?--Antidiskriminator (talk) 10:32, 6 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
