Clean-up edits[edit]

This article was quite good, but needed some help, mostly in sytle and references which I have fixed. Reference #25? I don't see it, can someone add it back in, using the wikisyntax of the other refs as a template?

The article did ramble on a bit, which is probably why it looks like large amounts of text were removed, but really most articles really do read better without wordiness, please don't take that as a criticism.

The page needed to be renamed to conform with the WP:MOS andWikipedia:Naming conventions which reads "Do not capitalize second and subsequent words unless the title is a proper noun (such as a name) or is otherwise almost always capitalized".

The subjects and topics about this article is very catching and the contents are objective, while there's still some problems needed to be noticed. The article might need to further state about how will the spread or control of disease effect the development of globalization and more cases in other areas or countries besides United States.--Happyweekdays (talk) 19:14, 29 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Article Evaluation- Globalization and Disease[edit]

This article gives us a general introduction of the historical theories of the relationship between gobalization and diseases. To further explain the idea, the author states from three main aspects-spread pattern, the variety of diseases and the effect to the development of disease brought by globalization. The content of this article is closely associated to the topic and other unnecessary or irrelevant information is slightly presented. From my perspective, the author holds a relatively neutral position and attitude on writing the article, while the problem I see in this article is the author put more emphasis on the influence to the spread of diseases from globalization, while overlook what kind of impact does the spread of disease bring in the course of globalization. The reference materials are reliable enough support the points in the article as most of the sources are cited from national academic articles or scientific books. However, there are still some links are unable to be found now and a few links are not accessible for outsiders, such as the link to ohio state university's history library. Besides, some historical facts might need to be referenced as well. There is only one comment on this article's talk page so far but some really good advice are provided. For instance, some original research need to be stated more and some links are not available to be seen.Happyweekdays (talk) 19:13, 29 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

COVID-19 section outdated[edit]

A lot of the information in the COVID-19 section is somewhat outdated, framed from the perspective of around June 2020. I have updated the stats (8 million cases now 260 million, for example) but it still needs work. 71.84.64.36 (talk) 05:41, 26 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
