Image:Gloria 1980 movie poster.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Grammar

Does anyone proofread these Wikipedia articles? This one is riddled with grammatical errors from start to finish. I believe I also saw a couple of misspellings (though they can probably be contributed to misuse of tense in grammar than to actual misspellings). This is not the only Wikipedia article I have seen that contains numerous grammatical errors and misspellings. On occasion I have fixed a few misspellings and grammar errors in other articles, but this one needs a lot of work. Hi. Saw a big improvement in this article. Hope I didn't come across as being harsh before. That wasn't my intention. It was just frustration. I guess you guys are busy and do this on a volunteer basis. There are a few things that still need changing, but this is a very big improvement. If I get the chance, I'll fix the minor things myself. Thanks very much for fixing it. I realize that it may not have been the fault of the writer. I've heard that sometimes people sabotage these article. I stumbled across one that was sabotaged some time ago. It was about Andrew Johnson and it said that he assassinated Abraham Lincoln. I reported that and someone changed it. The finale

The outcome in the final ten minutes or so is arguably deliberately ambiguous. After the meeting with Tanzinni, Gloria exits in the elevator, while the godfather orders his men to fire through the wooden ceiling of the elevator box, to make sure she does not make it out alive. We see this firing happen, the bullets going through while the box is slowly moving down. Almost certainly she is killed, and then her appearance at the cemetery in the final scene would denote that she and Phil are both dead at this point (a typical black "Mafia station wagon" (rather than a "limo") has appeared in the background shortly before the picture turns to black and white and Gloria appears dressed as an old woman; it is not shown who was in the car), but Cassavetes evidently did not want to quite openly show either of the two getting gunned down. 188.150.64.57 (talk) 23:31, 9 December 2022 (UTC)
