Brief History[edit]

Brockworth was the third in a series of villages located along an old Roman Road following a more-or-less straight line to the inland port city of Gloucester

I assume we're talking about Barnwood, Hucclecote and Brockworth there? It would also be useful if someone clarified where the other end of the Roman Road went to. I assume Cirencester, in which case, there are several more villages en route. Robotmannick 08:08, 29 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Alfred Miles body builders of Cheltenham[edit]

I am advised by the son of Peter Rees that "Peter was a founding Director and Chief Executive of Alfred Miles Ltd, Cheltenham until the Company was sold to Gloster Aircraft in 1960. Gloster Aircraft sold the Company on to Dennis of Guildford."

Alfred Miles' company of Engineers and body builders was established in 1860. Anyone have any evidence of these company transactions? Darzet boy (talk) 21:50, 10 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
