Just noting that, as far as I know, Audrey Mildmay was not Canadian, and I've altered the text that says she was. She was born in Herstmonceux, Sussex. Her father, a clergyman, moved to a parish in Vancouver, and she went to school there, but she returned to England to study singing at age 24. --GuillaumeTell 18:07, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I propose that Glyndebourne Festival Opera be merged into Glyndebourne. I think that the content in the Glyndebourne Festival Opera article can easily be explained in the context of Glyndebourne, and the Glyndebourne article is of a reasonable size that the merging will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned. 212.169.34.146 (talk) 13:27, 30 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose: There does not have to be one huge article here. It is quite clear that the Glyndebourne article focuses on the house and its facilities (i.e. it is an opera house article.) In contrast, the Glyndebourne Festival Opera article focuses on the opera company and its activities. There are plenty of examples where there are two separate articles of this sort, one example being Royal Opera House - the building - and The Royal Opera - the company. I suspect that this book, Anthem Guide to the Opera, Concert Halls and Classical Music Venues of Europe (published in 2009), copied the "present theatre" section of this article, added in 2006 in this edit. I guess this book violates the copyright. --saebou (talk) 02:15, 21 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
