Not really about the article

why the page has no https:// ?? Is it safe to give money with a credit card?87.78.99.161 (talk) 14:38, 11 January 2015 (UTC)

No section on the $800K plus raised by Memories Pizza and the subsequent closing of active fundraisers?

So surprising. I guess $800K is not as encyclopedic or noteworthy as the $100K ones currently listed and in explained in full detail within the page.

How about a list of the first publicly known fundraisers ever closed down by gofundme? Sweetcakes Bakery Arlene's Floral Memories Pizza

all of the page not available links are available via any search engine.

But then again the wikiproject really isn't about sourced NPOV encyclopedic material anymore, is it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.13.221.120 (talk) 22:33, 27 April 2015 (UTC)

Controversy

Wow for a site that has run into lots of controversy it's surprising none is listed here, this page looks scrubbed by the company to turn wikipedia into an ad. They have a long history of selective deletion of campaigns, often focusing on minorities. 73.241.82.27 (talk) 02:20, 14 January 2016 (UTC)

I would second this. The only time I have seen mainstream news articles devoted to gofundme is in connection with them shutting down campaigns opposed to pro-gay positions. That is certainly notable if anything else about them is. Isn't there a "be bold" editor who can correct this bias? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.12.245.132 (talk) 18:51, 6 August 2016 (UTC)

Hear, hear! I pulled up this article specifically to look for criticism / controversies and find it odd that there is none. Someone should add a 'criticism' section and then lock the page. 63.92.241.249 (talk) 23:56, 12 September 2016 (UTC) Darwing

Completely agree with the absence of a critical opinion, especially in Wikipedia. --Genamar05 (talk) 17:11, 25 September 2016 (UTC)

A friend of mine started a GoFundMe to buy Destiny 2 (and he got 50 bucks from some random person.)... Don't know if this helps your cause but it's still funny! -aman0226 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aman0226 (talkcontribs) 14:58, 24 May 2018 (UTC)
