Opening Guitar Riff Sample

[edit]

Should it be mentioned which Slayer song was sampled for the opening riff of this song? The Slayer page mentions both songs sampled in this track. 72.141.160.63 (talk) 22:21, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Move discussion in process

[edit]

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:Boots (KMFDM single) which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RFC bot 05:30, 11 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Godlike 2010

[edit]

I would like to suggest making a page for Godlike 2010 and moving the track listing there and giving it its own Infobox. I can see how it is very relevant to the Godlike single, but it is a release by itself. You can always write a blurb about Godlike 2010 on this page and point to it. I thought of this when I was on the Day of Light page and expected to see Godlike 2010 as the Next single. For now, I will add Godlike 2010 as the Next single and point it to the section on the Godlike page. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks Incredibly Obese Black Man (talk) 04:07, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm tending to disagree on this one. There were multiple singles and EPs etc that came out with Juke Joint Jezebel, but we've kept them all together on the same page, because the article is about the song, not the release. In the same way, the Godlike article is about that song, not just the 1990 release. Also, there's a decent chance someone would try to delete a new article about the new release, as there is a fair case to be made that doesn't pass a notability test on its own. On second thought, I do agree. It is more of a remix album than anything. Cheers! Incredibly Obese Black Man (talk) 23:49, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

On Patti Smith-[seemingly] influenced lyrics

[edit]

It seems "Godlight" which Konietzko mentions in his blog is not actually a song, but the ending piece from Patti Smith's book Babel. There's no reliable sources for this, though. Gleb95 (talk) 23:25, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
