References/archives are wrong[edit]

A lot of the references point to the year before the ones it says they are supposed to reference. It's a mess and needs cleaning up ASAP especially as this is a featured list.

There's a note at the bottom of the article: "The year indicates the period for which the awards are given and not the year in which the ceremony took place." Thus, the year listed in the leftmost column of the table is the year in which the film was made, and the year indicated in the reference is the year in which the ceremony took place. Therefore, every reference will be one year later than the table. Does that make sense? If this is not the problem you were pointing out, please share which individual references are problematic.
