The suspected copyright issue with this topic is incorrect. This Wikipedia article was written by the webmaster of the Goldfields Giants website. - Lukosius 13:55, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please place a notice on your website indicating that you release the text under a free licence or into the public domain. Honestly though, it would be a lot easier if you just wrote it again in your own, different, words. -- zzuuzz (talk) 13:10, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What a load of bollocks. Have you actually read the article? The whole thing is a statement of fact, nothing more, nothing less. For example the article starts with "The Goldfields Giants are a semi-professional basketball team.." How can you re-word that? That's what we are. - Lukosius 13:55, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The wording of the entire article was virtually identical to that used by website. For copyright purposes, this makes it a copy. The same facts can be presented with totally different wording, and I suggest you do that. -- zzuuzz (talk) 13:28, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is ridiculous. Ok, please have another look on the www.goldencity.com.au/giants/info/info.html webpage and read the first sentence I have just added (you may have to refresh), and then tell me you still cannot accept my Wikipedia article! - Lukosius 13:55, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. I told you it would be easier if you just re-wrote it, and what the hell I may do it myself. Because this is a free content encyclopaedia, the text must be released under a free licence, such as the GFDL, or into the public domain - specifically the permission must not be just for use on Wikipedia - it must be able to be used by anyone, anywhere, and for any purpose (see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission). Give me an hour or two and I will rewrite it. Please take the time to find some third party reliable sources to help satisfy our Verifiability and Notability requirements. -- zzuuzz (talk) 14:07, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've already re-written it myself. - Lukosius 14:09, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

External links modified[edit]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Goldfields Giants. Please take a moment to review my edit. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
