About me

[edit]

Greetings! My name is Eric Calladine and I am the person who wrote the majority of the text here on Wikipedia. Being a Goldpfeil afficionado and collector for over fifteen years, I've been able to acquire a great deal of knowledge of the history of Goldpfeil. For decades, Goldpfeil has produced a multitude of leather goods lines such as the "Sport Line" the "Caracciola Line" "Pegasus Club" as well as the "Oxford Line" which to this day has remained the most popular line, consistently producing goods ideal for the successful business person in a style of understated elegance and of very high quality. The classic Oxford colours are burgundy, scotch and black. Goldpfeil's finest line, the "Tradition Line" has always been made in very small quantities, is usually serial numbered and is very expensive. Most Tradition through the years was sold to elite customers in Germany through the German retail Goldpfeil Shops and rarely was for sale outside of Germany. Through the decades, the Oxford Line has had various distinctions imprinted on the leather including, W. Germany, West Germany, Handmade in Germany and simply, Germany. The Tradition Line designation normally is embossed into the leather reading "Luxury in Leather. Handmade in Germany since 1856." — Preceding unsigned comment added by Goldpfeil USA (talkcontribs) 07:25, 24 April 2011
