Least Livable?
[edit]Though it DOES rank 379th of 379 surveyed locales for livability, such ranking does not place it as the least livable city. There are MANY other locales that remained un-surveyed. Yes, it was the least livable of the surveyed cities, but it in no means makes it the least livable in the USA. VexedTechie 17:31, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
- This is not accurate. It rates ALL 379 Metropolitan areas in the United States (some of which include more than 1 city). Therefore, it does rank Goldsboro as the least livable Metropolitan area in the USA. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.192.132.130 (talk) 18:30, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
Maybe Goldsboro used to be liveable. In the last ten years it has turned into nothing but panhandlers and store froint churches. The police claim they can't do anything about panhandlers becuase they are exercising their "free speech". Amazingly enought other cities such as raleigh and Chapel Hill manage to ban panhandling. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.238.205.89 (talk) 06:24, 25 August 2011 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Goldsboro NC flag.png
[edit]Image:Goldsboro NC flag.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Wayne Country Day receiving a link in the high schools section
[edit]Hello,
In reading through the page on Goldsboro, North Carolina in Wikipedia, the staff and administration of our school noticed that Wayne Country Day is not listed in the high schools section, but rather in the private schools section, which comes later on in the page. While Wayne Country Day IS a private school, it is a high school as well. Could we possibly be listed in the high school section and have a link to our website, just as Goldsboro High School, Rosewood High, and some others do? We would love to spread the news about our school, and we feel that much more people would get information about us if we were listed with the other high schools in the city of Goldsboro. The link to our site is [1]. We would truly appreciate it-thank you!

Schools
[edit]Charles B. Aycock is listed in the schools, even though it is located in Pikeville, NC. It's true that students living in Goldsboro can go to CBA, it's not actually apart of the city. Also, other schools in Pikeville (Norwayne Middle School, Northeast Elementary) are also in the district for some Goldsboro students. Should they be added, or Aycock removed?--Squirrelontv (talk) 01:31, 13 November 2008 (UTC)
Bomb
[edit]So there's an unexploded nuke lying around somewhere? Drutt (talk) 23:18, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
- I went to the farm where the unrecovered bomb rests and took some pictures, but it was pretty boring. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.144.92.165 (talk) 05:29, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
