"A few years prior to his death he acknowledged his homosexuality in a TV-interview although he never lived to the end of it." Sorry, lived to the end of what? Mapjc 00:44, 18 March 2007 (UTC)Mapjc[reply]

My question too. —JerryFriedman 16:27, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I just copied a quote from de:Golo Mann that may make things a little clearer. Chrisahn (talk) 00:05, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Also, what is a publicist? A political commentator? —JerryFriedman 16:27, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It's a wrong translation of the German word "Publizist". I fixed it. Chrisahn (talk) 23:50, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The bibliography lacks a lot of works, included his books translated into English or French. Trwbain (talk) 12:58, 4 June 2010 (UTC)Thomas Bain[reply]

unclear sentences[edit]

"Mann travels to Switzerland prove that the relationship to his father was easier, because in the meantime Thomas Mann had learned to appreciate his son's political knowledge." This is unclear. Can someone who KNOWS what it's about(not just someone who can rewrite it into a clear but possibly incorrect english sentence!)fix it up? thanks. Btw, i bet itis probably from machine translation from a foreign language.64.134.223.184 (talk) 22:18, 7 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
