The comment on Boye being sentenced for participating in the kidnapping of Emiliano Revilla has been deleted using as rationale "Reverted edit(s) by 212.85.34.19 identified as test/vandalism using STiki – unsourced libelous content about living person WP:BOLP WP:LIBEL". From the es.wiki-provided link http://elpais.com/diario/1996/06/15/espana/834789605_850215.html

In fact, the article mentions "The movie challenges whether Boye was fairly convicted for the kidnapping", but doesn't discuss the kidnapping itself. Shouldn't the article discuss the kidnapping? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.4.154.144 (talk) 03:54, 16 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Known for?

[edit]

I'd say the man is known for his human rights work in Europe and the Middle East, as well as his defence of Catalan exilés rather than by being the victim of a judicial error (or worse).

He appears to have become extremely unpopular in Spain when he took up the defence of the Catalan exilés, which makes me think the wording of this article it currently stands is far from innocent.

I'm not going to change it. It's a great example of why Wikipedia is in general best avoided. 31.36.150.191 (talk) 12:19, 1 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
