Both sisters?
[edit]I think it's questionable that Dora Goodale is notable; she had only one early book of poetry published independently. Would recommend that this article be about Elaine, with mentioning Dora as a contributor of poems in the girls' first books. Critics don't treat them seriously at that point, except as showing promise. (See Ruth Ann Alexander).Parkwells (talk) 23:19, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
- Okay, have found more material on them, and Dora both early and late. There has been considerable reappraisal of 19th-c. women poets, as of women in fiction and other art fields.

- Elaine Goodale is more notable for her work with the Sioux than for poetry. She should have her own article. Whether there is enough material for an article on the sisters and their poetry is another question. SpinningSpark 15:11, 30 November 2015 (UTC)
