The Film is not a Pseudo-Documentary or a Mockumentary it's Based on Real Event in a Historical Drama or Docudrama.[edit]

Pseudo-documentary": is a film or video production that takes the form or style of a documentary film but does not portray "real events"
Mockumentary is a type of film or television show in which "fictional events" are presented in documentary style to create a parody.

The name of this style of film is "Based On Real Events", Historical Drama or Docudrama.

Claiming it Pseudo-doc isn't false because the film using real event to portray it's drama. Claiming it's a Mockumentary is false because it doesn't even to MOCK anything.

+I strongly disagree that it does not fall into these two categories. While the film is *based* on real events, it depicts those events in a documentary style, with fictional interviewers and documentarians asking questions. Every event in the movie is staged, but it is presented in a documentary format. "Mockumentaries" are not strictly comedies and don't need to specifically "mock" anything except by mimicing the style of a true documentary. The wikipedia page on the subject clearly states "A dramatic mockumentary (sometimes referred to as docufiction) should not be confused with docudrama, a fictional genre in which dramatic techniques are combined with documentary elements to depict real events." I'll wait for your response before I reverse your changes, but I believe this category is both relevant and necessary to adequately describe this film and its place in history Mr Subtlety (talk) 22:26, 5 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Also, on the subject of a pseudo-documentary wikipedia gives a telling example: "Peter Greenaway employed pseudo-documentary style in his French television production Death on the Seine in 1988. He used fabricated scenes to reconstruct a historic event that was otherwise impossible to shoot, and portrayed it as reality" That fairly well describes the efforts of the filmmakers here as well.
