Talk:Goofy Gophers
I think it's erroneous to say the gophers have a "British" accent. They have an upper crust, New England-esque accent that was prominent in America until the 1940s. I think their vocalizations are making fun of gay men and snooty folk. They use overblown vocabulary and faux politeness while up to their shenanigans. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1702:B90:3210:250D:D796:EFAE:C927 (talk) 18:48, 4 October 2019 (UTC)

Question(s)?
[edit]Does "Mac and Tosh" have anything to do with Apple Computer naming the "Macintosh"? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by TayStad (talk • contribs) .
- No, the Goofy Gophers predate the computers by some time. A McIntosh is simply a variety of apple for which both the gophers and the computers were named. — BrianSmithson 15:05, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
More likely the Gophers were named for Charles Rennie Mackintosh another designer of chairs, like Thomas Chippendale.
And which is the one with the Gophers battling faceless harvesting equipment? — Mmicek 04:37, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
where can i get a video? i've been trying to explain the whole "shall we?", "let's shall" lingo between the gophers, to my girlfriend.
