Moved from ITN[edit]

Can we change the sentence "During that campaign he was diagnosed with motor neurone disease and went on to campaign to raise awareness of the condition." to "He was meanwhile diagnosed with motor neurone disease and went on to campaign to raise awareness of the condition."? The use of the word "campaign" twice in the same sentence is confusing. I know this comment does not belong at ITN, but the article is semi-locked and I had technical issues editing the talk page. 207.107.159.62 (talk) 15:51, 4 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
