Unclear text

In the Head chef section, towards the end of the third paragraph, it says "In November 2006, Gordon Ramsay at the London opened in New York City".

@Seasider53 , thanks for the clarification. That was my initial understanding but a restaurant of that name wasn't listed in the official website, hence the confusion. Full name?

Should Gordon Ramsay's full name be presented as "Gordon James Ramsay, Jr."? I ask because his father is stated as being "Gordon James Ramsay, Sr.", so it's fair enough as a editing request. 61.69.247.8 (talk) 07:31, 10 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

How many michelin stars does GR hold?

Do we need to talk about Gordon Ramsey "currently holds eight" Michelin stars ? He hasn't been the chef at Restaurant Gordon Ramsey for quite some time. Matt Abé is the Chef Patron who owns and runs the restaurant. It is Matt Abé that holds the three michelin stars at Restaurant Gordon Ramsey. It doesn't seem appropriate to credit Gordon Ramsey with "holding" these three Michelin Stars although it is appropriate to list the three stars within the 17 that he been awarded during his career. Gordon Ramsay is still the owner of Restaurant Gordon Ramsay (along with all of his restaurants), so he gets credited with the Michelin Stars his restaurants win/lose. It's just how it works with the Michelin Guide ♠JCW555 (talk)♠ 01:44, 9 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
