Year of birth: 1883 or 1884?[edit]

The sources cited by the article conflict, and a full birth date would be nice. Being 64 on July 20, 1948 is consistent with a birthday between July 21, 1883 and July 20, 1884. Who took the picture?[edit]

Naturalist Raymond Cowles describes her death quite differently.
