Neutrality

[edit]

I have tagged this with the POV-check tag as it is one sided and does not address the problems and controversy associated with the scheme. It reads as though it is a page of a driver licensing agency's website. --Nztui12 (talk) 07:23, 27 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of POV-check tag and adding of POV tag

[edit]

I've checked the neutrality myself following the placement of that tag and believe that it does not satisfy the neutral point of view requirements. The main points for my argument are:

  1. Introduction: The final sentence lacks a citation so this is meaningless
  2. Description: The fifth sentence reads as if it is the writers personal opinion, rather than anything encyclopedic and lacks a single citation.
  3. Africa: This section gives a recommendation of the author, without giving any references.
  4. Overall: Lack of any real citations, the only 3 references provided are government related ones with clear bias. A lack of any mention of controversy or criticism of these schemes, no disadvantages have been lifted to compare to the (un-cited) advantages.

I plan to fix some of these issues in time, but would appreciate any input and/or assistance in editing the article to a more neutral one. Regards, --Nztui12 (talk) 09:53, 28 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
