[edit]

GLNF recognition has been suspended by all regular Grand Lodges in Europe, including UGLE since 19/7/2011 http://www.ugle.org.uk/about-ugle/recognised-foreign-grand-lodges/ "Grande Loge Nationale Française : please note that with effect from 19 July 2011 relations have been suspended."

Rites

[edit]

The article states that GLNF was created for the practice of the Scottish Rectified Rite. This is somewhat inaccurate as Grand Orient de France has bodies which utilize the rite.

Please feel free to make the necessary corrections, suitably referenced of course. Wikipedia often relies on people who simply do their best, because a gap needs to be filled. It succeeds when people with specialist knowledge of these areas contribute their own perspective. Fiddlersmouth (talk) 23:40, 21 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Current crisis

[edit]

On the plus side, Stifani has resigned, and the GL has taken an "ant's step" towards democracy, spreading the power base to more GM nominees and instituting an impeachment procedure. On Wednesday, they were re-recognised by the Grand Lodge of Croatia (cue dancing). Otherwise, the new GM would rather blame the five signatories of the Basel declaration for the current pit they find themselves in than engage in meaningful negotiation, and there is still the (fiscal) question of the 50 million Euros allegedly misdirected under his predecessor. This lot are NOT out of the woods. Fiddlersmouth (talk) 23:40, 17 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
