there should be a change to precise that the name "graspop metal meeting" is effective only since the 1996 edition of the fest

Overlinking

[edit]

In my opinion the section on previous line-ups is heavily overlinked as per WP:MOS-L; it's not neccessary to link to a band page each and every time that band appears in the list. For this reason I have once cleaned up the overlinking, but now I just noticed that it's back to its overlinked state again. Personally I find it easier to read if it's not all in blue, plus there's no reason to link all the time. What's the general opinion on this? - x-Flare-x 10:37, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'd say we should revert the overlinking. That would also make it easier to notice the first time a band has performed. 62.195.137.94 (talk) 18:38, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, it's heavily over-linked. I will do the dirty work since this can't be reverted. I will also add a hidden comment to tell people not to. −₪ÇɨгcaғucɨҲ₪ kaiden 20:33, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I unlinked most of the bands so let's make sure it doesn't get over-linked again. There is still a bit of unlinking to be done but it will take some time to find what needs to be. −₪ÇɨгcaғucɨҲ₪ kaiden 21:04, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Perimeter

[edit]

Is the perimeter figure wrong? 3,736km is bigger than london. Shouldn't it read 3.736 km?

That's just the European thousands delimeter. 79.78.60.213 (talk) 22:01, 27 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Canceled bands

[edit]

With the last festival two band (at least that I know of) have canceled their show, Volbeat and Opeth. Should that be noted or shall we delete those names all together? 86.94.25.18 (talk) 10:25, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I was thinking the same thing, I think the best thing would be to indicate that they were scheduled but canceled. I have made the edit. Jtesla16 (talk) 20:49, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ahhh! my eyes!

[edit]

Is there any way we can stop the overlinking? It hurts my eyes just looking through the list. I was suggesting we make it more organized, cleaner and easier to see/look at (heh - hitting 3 birds with one stone!) with tables/columns, whatever! instead of listing the bands this way. FireCrystal (talk) 20:35, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I unlinked all of the bands, apart from the first instance. So let's make sure it doesn't get over-linked again. I have also put all the bands into tables.
