The current route for the half starts at George Square and ends at Glasgow Green. But I think it used to begin and end on the Green. When did they change, and what was the course before that? -- Finlay McWalterჷTalk 16:47, 5 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
One of the links I added has some sketchy information about one year (but not enough to be clear, and it's not clear that it was the same each time). That says it started at the Saltmarket (I have a vague memory of runners rounding the tollbooth), looped around town several times, and ended at the green. -- Finlay McWalterჷTalk 19:45, 15 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
For much of its time, it seems the event organiser was RunGlasgow. I think this was affiliated to the council, but I don't know. That organisation now seems to be defunct (and its website, with all the official results is inactive). The event is now run by The Great Run Company. I wonder when the change happened (2013 ish?)? -- Finlay McWalter··–·Talk 16:27, 30 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
