Same company?[edit]

Am I right in thinking this company isn't actually defunct, and was simply bought and rebranded by First? If so, it should be merged and redirected. --82.45.163.4 15:12, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merger discussion[edit]

As much of this page is a duplication of the First Great Western article, suggest this article be merged into that article. It is the same legal entity,^[1] just with a March 1998 change of owner and December 1998 rebranding.

Precedent at c2c, where sale from Prism Rail to National Express Group and rebranding from LTS Rail are all covered on one article. D47817 (talk) 23:18, 19 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
